Huston Academy's Graduation Ceremony will be streamed live through Cowboy Church of Erath County's Facebook Page. It will begin about 10 minutes before the service starts at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 21st.

Last week, Governor Greg Abbott announced he was lifting the statewide mask mandate effective Wednesday, March 10, 2021. The following day, school districts across the state received an update from the Texas Education Agency on how this change would affect schools. In their guidance, the TEA said that school boards have the "full authority to determine their local mask policy."
At a called meeting on Monday, March 8, 2021, the Erath Excels Academy Board of Directors adopted a resolution lifting the mask mandate, making the wearing of masks or face coverings while at school optional for students and staff, effective March 10, 2021.
We are aware of Governor Abbott’s recent press statements removing the statewide “mask mandate,” which will go into effect next Wednesday, March 10. At this time we are awaiting additional guidance from the Texas Education Agency regarding the governor’s order and its effect on schools and we will share more details once available. Until then, Huston Academy will continue with ALL current guidelines.
