Huston Academy is looking for a School Receptionist/Data Manager. This is a very active position that requires good energy. The ideal candidate possesses good people skills, the ability to be able to multi-task, and good common sense. Minimum education required is a high school diploma. Some college is preferred. Experience in this type of position is a plus. Compensation is based on qualifications and is very competitive. It is with great sadness that we share the news of the sudden death of our beloved History and English teacher, Linda Brown. Ms. Brown was always a bright light who loved her students and was so very proud of each of them. Linda loved Huston Academy and we loved her. She made a difference in the lives of her students each and every day. However, just as importantly, she made the lives of our staff so much richer by just being here.
We know that this is a tremendous shock to anyone who knew her and we are available for you now and in the days and weeks to come. Tomorrow morning, beginning at 9:00, we will open our doors to our students, parents, friends, and community members to provide a place for grieving, sharing, or celebrating the life of Linda Brown. We will have counselors and pastors available on campus to minister to anyone who needs it. We would love to see you, comfort you, and help you through this tough time. Please do not hesitate to join us!! We will have donuts, kolaches, and drinks available as well.
Our most meaningful thoughts and prayers are with the Brown and Fergason families during this time.
