#COVID19 lives on droplets in the lungs of people with the virus, even if they don’t have symptoms. When infected people breathe, the virus enters the air. If you can’t #StayHome, wear a mask/scarf/bandana, stay 6 feet apart, and wash your hands. #DontGoViral

Common symptoms of #COVID19 are fever, dry cough, & shortness of breath. If you have mild symptoms, call your doctor & #StayHome. If you develop serious symptoms, such as trouble breathing, pressure in the chest, or bluish lips or face, call your doctor & seek care immediately.

Before social distancing, each person with #COVID19 spread the virus to 2.5 more people. At that pace, most would get it, and many more people would die. But we can slow the spread. That’s why we all #StayHome. #ApartTogether we slow coronavirus.

You can spread #COVID19 without knowing you have it. Whether you have symptoms or not, #StayHome. If you have to go out, wear a mask/bandana/scarf, regularly wash your hands, and stay 6 feet apart. We must stay #ApartTogether to slow coronavirus. https://tea.texas.gov/staywell

The Tarrant Area Food Bank will be expanding their services to Erath County from monthly to weekly for the next few weeks. This week food may be picked up at the front of Chamberlin Elementary School on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. SISD and Hope have teamed up in this effort to help our students and community members who may not have the resources or availability during this time of need. This supplemental schedule is likely to change away from Saturday moving forward in the coming weeks. The regular Stephenville Community Pantry will continue to be held the third Thursday of each month at the First Baptist Church. Please spread the word to others that you may know that are in need.

Did you know that washing your hands with soap & water eliminates #Coronavirus molecules preventing the virus from infecting you & others? The same is true when you disinfect surfaces. Science says it works. https://bit.ly/2w7TGAJ #COVID19 #txed #StayWellTexas

Hello, this is a message from Huston Academy. We miss our students, and hope you are all well. This important message about COVID-19 will help to keep you safe and healthy. The most important thing you can do right now is stay at home! If that’s not possible, practice social distancing by staying 6 feet from others. Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as doorknobs and countertops. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth, and cover a cough or sneeze with your elbow. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 – a fever, dry cough, or shortness of breath, call your doctor. Remember, by staying apart now, we can all be together again faster!

We need all parents to complete the "Student Need Survey" that is located on the school's website: http://www.hustonacademy.com/ It is very important for us to work together to ensure all needs are being met during this time, and students are able to complete assignments.
